
The long awaited report on the parties that took place in 2020 in Downing Street, is still a matter for the conclusion of the police’s investigation, but today the Cabinet Office has released an update on the findings of the report looking into the parties that took place at No, 10 Downing Street Building and other Government department during the COVID-19 national lockdown, and contrary to the emergency legal guidelines announced by Boris Johnson on behalf of the Government in 2020.

The Metropolitan Police has now confirmed that as a result of information provided by the Cabinet Office investigation team, as well as assessments made by Metropolitan Police officers, they are investigating the events on the dates set out above with the exception of the gatherings on:
• 15 May 2020
• 27 November 2020
• 10 December 2020
• 15 December 2020
The police have, it’s believed insisted that certain information within the report that relates to any ongoing police investigation remains out of public domain whilst they are conducting their legal investigations.
The Prime Minister is expected to announce the reports and discuss it’s contents this afternoon at 3pm in Parliament today.
